In a recent incident in the Jaswantpura area of Bhilwara district, Rajasthan, three employees of a petrol pump have been taken into custody following an altercation involving a Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officer. The police provided this update on Wednesday.
The confrontation occurred on Tuesday when Chhotu Lal Sharma, who serves as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Pratapgarh, got into a dispute with a petrol pump employee. This particular petrol station also sells CNG.
The argument began over a disagreement regarding the filling of CNG in vehicles. Sharma claimed that his vehicle should be filled first since he had arrived before another car.
During the dispute, another employee attempted to intervene, but the SDM slapped him. In retaliation, the employee struck back, hitting the SDM. The entire incident was captured on the petrol pump's CCTV cameras.
On Wednesday, footage of the altercation was released. Authorities reported that the three petrol pump employees—Deepak Mali, Prabhu Lal Kumawat, and Raja Sharma—have been arrested, and a thorough investigation into the matter is underway.
